JBA Owners Club

In the winter of 1986, an enthusiastic JBA Javelin owner acquired a list of all JBA owners in the UK and wrote to them all to organize a meeting. In February of 1987 the meeting took place and a Committee for the JBA Owners Club was formed. Geoff Payne was the enthusiastic founder of the JBA OC and remains an Honorary Member to this day

In 1992 Geoff was succeeded by Alan Naughton as Chairman, and in 1994 Phil Hellon was appointed as Vice Chairman. The meetings initially took place in Standish (Manchester), where the company was originally based, but in 1995 the JBA Owners Club AGM was changed to The National Kit Car Show, Stoneleigh (Warwickshire), where it has remained to this day

1996 and 1997 saw the change of the Vice Chairman and Chairman to Bob Reynolds and Pete Henstock respectfully. Lol Lennox was awarded the second JBA OC Honorary Membership in 1998 as he stood down from his post as Magazine Editor following 8 years of outstanding contribution

The superb JBA OC website is managed by the current Club Chairman, Gavin Dimmick and is updated on a regular basis. The JBA OC Quarterly Club Magazine is designed, edited and produced by George Hunt

Vice Chairman, Bob Reynolds stood down from the position in 2006 and in 2008, after 14 years of service Les Fragle stood down from being Secretary. After 12 years as Chairman, Pete Henstock stood down from the position and was succeeded by JBA OC South West Representative Gavin Dimmick, who remains Chairman to this day

The 2012 A.G.M. will be held at The National Kit Car Show, Stoneleigh (Warwickshire) on Sunday the 6th of May
